Hardwood windows in County Fermanagh

Bespoke timber windows and doors, surveyed, made and installed across County Fermanagh — Enniskillen, Lisnaskea, Irvinestown and everywhere between.

Homeowners across County Fermanagh come to us for hardwood windows after a uPVC replacement has aged badly. Timber is the material you specify when you intend to still be happy with it in twenty years.

Every timber joinery we make in County Fermanagh starts the same way: a surveyor measures the actual opening, records the existing profiles and checks how the reveal sits. Nothing is ordered from a catalogue.

What we bring to a County Fermanagh project

Standard on every order
  • Glazing beaded internally, so the sealed units can be replaced without disturbing the external finish.
  • Trickle ventilation designed into the head where Building Regulations require it, not drilled in afterwards.
  • Kiln-dried to 12% moisture content before machining, so the sections stay true once they are installed.
  • Engineered laminated sections on anything over 1.2m, which resist bowing far better than solid stock.
  • Stainless or solid brass ironmongery, because plated steel fails first and takes the finish with it.

Prices below are supplied-and-fitted including VAT, for a typical domestic unit in Idigbo with double glazing and a factory-painted finish. Oak, Accoya, triple glazing and larger openings move the figure up; ordering several units at once brings it down.

Questions from County Fermanagh homeowners

How do the surveys and quotations work?

The guide price tool gives you an indicative range in a couple of minutes. If that range works, we book a free survey — measurements, profiles, exposure, access — and issue a fixed written quotation with a drawing. Nothing is manufactured until you have approved that drawing.

What sort of guarantee do you offer?

Ten years on the joinery and the manufacture, and the sealed units carry their own manufacturer's warranty. Accoya frames carry the 50-year above-ground timber warranty from the material supplier. All of it is confirmed in writing with the quotation.

Will the timber warp or stick?

Not if it is specified correctly. Sticking comes from moisture ingress into unsealed end grain, or from solid stock used where laminated sections were needed. Kiln-dried timber, sealed end grain, factory finishing and engineered sections on longer spans between them eliminate it.

Can you fit trickle vents?

Where Building Regulations require background ventilation, we design it into the head of the frame at manufacture. That looks far better and performs far better than a vent drilled through a finished frame on site.

Do you work on listed buildings?

Regularly. Listed building consent turns on detail — sightlines, glazing bar sections, opening method and glass type. We survey the existing joinery, record the profiles and produce drawings you can submit. We will not quote a detail we know will not pass.
